Here is our logo attempts.. I think we may have a winner, but can’t say for sure yet Here is another one… and another one…
This is a photo of the group taken at the Starbucks after the outing. Great group shot using the fisheye lense Fisheye lense photograph showing the towers above. Here is a shot of the glass cover over a stairwell. Looks great. Here is a shot of the fountain. At the beginning of the meeting we [...]
The January 15th meeting was a complete success. Eight people attended in total. We walked from the the Starbucks on Robson and Jervis Street down to Nicola Street and ended up at the Inukshuk down at Beach Ave. Afterwards we went to another Starbucks, sat down, and talked.

I have to give my wife credit for this photo. I took this shot myself, but she stepped in and adjusted the camera angle. After reviewing the photo’s.. her photo turned out to be much better than my first attempt I really like the clarity of the drainage grate in the foreground… I guess I [...]
This is a night photograph of some christmas boats.
Today, while taking this photo of the Burrard Street Bridge, I realized that my camera settings were not adjusted to maximize the amount of light entering my camera through the lens. So today, in MANUAL MODE, I independently adjusted the aperture value to increase the amount of light entering my lens. The first step is [...]
This is a Christmas tree that’s along the seawall. I don’t have much to say about it really. I wanted to get a photo of just the tree, but there is the fountain on one side and from the park there was this power line going across that I didn’t like. The photo is still [...]
